Hypno-Reiki

the New Spiritual Healing Combo Everyone is Talking About!

Hey Love,

One of my most popular blog articles was on the combination of massage and hypnotherapy, hypno-massage. Now I would like to share with you another favorite of mine, hypno-Reiki (and YES, it is as wonderful as it sounds)! The term seems to be catching fire and maybe you have heard the latest buzz.

As a Reiki master-teacher, I incorporate Reiki into EVERYTHING. Reiki used to come through during my massages and now it is a part of my hypnosis sessions. Personally, these sessions would feel incomplete without the added bonus of addressing the energetic body. Through hypnosis / hypnotherapy, the subconscious mind is addressed and the combination of both aspects is so powerful to me!

Combining Hypnosis and Reiki

The practice of combining hypnosis with Reiki, aka hypno-Reiki, has been gaining popularity in the spiritual community over recent years. The enchanting combination, of deep relaxation and subconscious reprograming of hypnosis with the energy balancing techniques of Reiki, creates a powerful healing experience!

Understanding Hypnosis and Reiki

Hypnosis is a therapeutic technique that induces a trance-like state to help you relax, focus your minds, and access your subconscious. This heightened state of awareness can help you uncover limiting beliefs, release negative emotions, and create positive changes in your life.

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique that involves the channeling of universal life force energy to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Practitioners may use gentle touch or a distant sacred symbol to balance chakras (energy centers in the body) and remove energy blockages.

The Benefits of Hypno-Reiki

When combined, hypnosis and Reiki complement each other beautifully, enhancing your overall healing experience. Hypno-Reiki sessions can help you to reach a deeper state of relaxation, to let go of mental chatter, and connect more fully with your inner-being.

The hypnotic state can also help you become more receptive to the energy healing benefits of Reiki, amplifying its effects and accelerating the release of energy blockages. This combined approach can promote profound healing on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels, leading to increased feelings of peace, balance, and well-being.

How Hypno-Reiki Sessions Work

During a hypno-Reiki session, the practitioner will typically guide you into a relaxed state using a hypnotic technique called an induction. This is to get you into a peaceful trace state where you will feel completely at ease and comfortable. Letting go and finding yourself present in the moment, the hypnotist may use techniques such as deep breathing, visualization, and positive affirmations during this part.

Reiki healing energy is then channeled through a Reiki practitioner. This may be a second person present for your session or someone who practices both Reiki and hypnotherapy/ hypnosis. This practitioner may touch you with their hands or send the energy to you without touch, like a radio wave. Reiki energy may be felt by you as different sensations in the body, thoughts, and/or emotions. The Reiki practitioner will channel the Reiki energy to facilitate healing on different layers of your body’s energy field.

This integrated approach can address a wide range of physical and emotional issues, including stress, anxiety, chronic pain, and trauma. Working on both the conscious and subconscious levels simultaneously, hypno-reiki can help you uncover and release deeply rooted patterns and offers a unique and effective way to restore balance and harmony to your life. Have you tried it yet? Let me know your thoughts down below!

Blessings to you!
